WHY change so many players and setup with Real Madrid away up next, Bag the 3 points and then rest players at Mardid
 
I think the biggest concern that I have personally, is I don't feel any kind of feeling towards 90% of our squad

Over the years I've loved the majority of them, whether it be character, ability, desire etc

These lot on the whole are just 'meh' feels like there's a good few that feel like they've made it now they're here, and aren't actually bothered about winning trophies

The whole squad lacks character and mental and physical toughness, these were traits that our squad have had across the patch for the last 10 years, and that's before they showed their ability

More to do with players needing a rest and the players who started tonight been asking pep for game time! Also am not so sure our full team would have beat that leverkuson said tonight the way they played!
 
Abject performance and no positives to take from tonight. Whilst I wanted rotation, 10 changes was too many and we were second best for the whole of the game. Even when we brought the big guns on we didn't really threaten the Leverkusen goal.

I understand people's frustrations with the line up but to me it's totally on the players.

Bobb, Lewis, Reijnders, Savinho, Marmoush, Ake, Nouri etc. These guys are so fucking far off the pace its painful.

We've just got no competition for places. Everyone knows the best starting XI bar Rodri and that's damning for those on the bench.
 
Abysmal.

Our final third play is just boring. No one is willing to take a risk. Doesn't really look cohesive either. No one wants to push forward and have a crack.

Lack of defensive urgency. There was a moment around '70 that sums it up. Maza had an open run on goal and everyone around was just jogging casually there. Lucky we weren't punished for it.

I would add fans losing interest to that list as well.

I know it’s a shit night to go to the game and we always get a weird crowd in CL games, but there was a real sense of apathy in the ground tonight.
