That is a ridiculous line up and will probably backfire badly unless Leverkusen are worse than anybody thought. I mean its a totally different eleven, bar one, than the one that played at Newcastle. I expected a few players to be rested but ten?? Even by Pep's standards that's bold lol. Hopefully it comes off.

How often does Pep rotate in the CL, never this much.

Might be the new format, maybe you can't go all out in all 8 games.

We played pretty much the same starting 11 in the CL last season and fucked it up good and proper. Every team knew how to set up against us.

Peps done something different and all the "Peps too stubborn" crew suddenly want more of the same.

Don't know tbh, they're certainly not the team they were 2 seasons ago, although neither are we. I'm not saying it's a bad decision, like I said, I called for something similar earlier on in "easier" games just surprised Pep has actually done it in this when he didn't against inferior opposition.

Haaland (and others) will have 3 league games in 8 days before he can sit out the Carabao Cup game

So why did the club feel it appropriate to sign those players ? They are professional footballers not wythenshawe park Sunday morning. All capable to work for the shirt and fans to get a positive result. Support the players who represent your team and get rid of the BBC/social media bias which it is apparent has inflicted you!!

If it's a great team why are none of them nailed on starters in our strongest XI?

Even if it isn't going especially well, that bench is serious. Being able to bring on a fresh doku, Haaland and foden if we need a goal is a scary prospect.

People wanted change and that's what we are after getting.
Interesting to see how we play without Haaland.
