Guess we won't see that team ever again, will be interesting how they play together?

No expectations tonight, no pressure on that team, could be fun!
Could be painful too.

Top entertainment, Pep.
Can't wait!

FULL SUPPORT FOR THE BLUE BOYS !!

Not like Pep this but that is still a very good 11.

Back 4 a good mix, looking forward to seeing what Ait-Nouri can provide.

Lewis is always decent when he’s played in the CL games in the middle, and he always seems to link well with Bobb on the rare occasions that they have played together.

Hopefully we will see the Reijnders of the cwc/Wolves game.

Most of us been keen to see the burden on Haaland eased and a prime opportunity for Marmoush to impress.

Also a clear sign that Pep views Nico G as key for the team’s structure at the moment?

Come on City!!

Why he's finally got 2 players alongside him that can run and cover ground.
I get what you're saying - but Rico is no midfielder I'm afraid, Reijnders has qualities I'm not sure getting stuck in is one of them.
That leaves alot for Gonzales to cover.
I'm usually wrong though so let's get it on
(Oddly enough on a forum you can express an opinion btw)

People have been looking to see Stones, Khusanov and Ait Nouri starting.
Querying why there was no Marmoush.
O Reilly, Bernardo and Gvardiol looking tired.
no problem with rotation, I don't expect the same team every week, but 10 changes from what is generally considered to be our strongest available XI is a bit much for a game of this importance

ooh the obligatory rag comment, if you think this is anywhere near our strongest line up the nyou're a fucking idiot
It's about a team not the 'strongest 11' oh if we had messi and maradonna and pele we'd win every game?? Except it doesn't work like that does it mr football no nothing!

Nice, mix it up, fine with me

No, not our strongest 11 by any means, but we have a squad for a reason and the team looks quite dynamic. My main remark would be lack of presence, but we'll see.

One thing though, guardiola does usually go quite strong in the CL and this is a chance to really make top 8 qualification likely, so I'm a bit surprised he's rotated like this. But hey ho, looking forward to it
