Lewis Fiorini

Last couple of games Lewis has been back to his best for The Imps.

A slide rule pass to Bishop v Cheltenham for what should've been the winner.
A wonderful cross field ball to Scully for the opener v Oxford last Saturday, and involved in the crucial 2nd goal with an outrageously sublime pass to Maguire who set up Whittaker.
On Tuesday night he played superbly against ex-£13m man Alex Pritchard v Sunderland in front of 28k at the Stadium of Light.

Lewis came through a quiet spell in Nov/Dec when The Imps were out of form, but is learning fast and according to his Dad (who some of you may well know) is enjoying it immensely.

Dropped to the bench last night and struggling Lincoln managed to secure a much needed win at home to Morecambe. Some fans on their forum had been predicting he might be dropped after recent team performances.

Yeah like Callum Doyle at Sunderland he has played pretty much every minute of every game since landing there so probably needs the break and a rest. Hasn’t helped that the team has spectacularly underachieved compared to last year but they were punching way above their weight last season anyway
Lewis will have a good career somewhere but almost certainly won’t be at City
Think he could do bits in the SPL and as a Scotland qualified player and U21 international he might well be in demand up there

Yeah last season they seemed to have an overperforming side but really helped by Brennan Johnson and Rogers. Don’t quite seem to have that same firepower of attacking talent this season. But fiorini seems to be doing his job very well

Ex blue Scully’s lad was great early on and Fiorini was his supply line. But they miss a goalscorer.
They are way down on last year but they had lads who are now ripping up the Championship on loan
Morgan Rogers has wasted an entire year at Bournemouth, he was amazing for the Imps last season. Looked several levels above
I hope we have a blacklist and we never ever send a player to Bournemouth or to any club managed by Scott Parker ever again. That Tory-looking **** has stolen a year of Morgan’s life and career.
The people in the club who decide where prospects are loaned should also be worrying about their jobs. One area of the club where we really are shite

Still not forgiven him, Arry and the southern press for the 'stamp' stichup. Mario supposed to have stamped on him despite being off balance and looking the other way. Then he was back on within 2 minutes with not a scratch on him.
Shithouse of the highest order. IMHO.

Appleton was saying how well Fiorini had done and said he was excellent after the MK Dons last week, been playing him out of position as they have had lots of injuries.Got some more players in January so hopefully they will start playing Fiorini in his correct position as an 8 or 10.
