Liam at the AJ/DD big fight.

I dont know why he has changed his singing style since Oasis.
His vocals used to be be fantastic - unlike Ian Brown for eg whos a great front man but simply can't sing.

Nowadays.... Well I think we can all hear that his vocals are pretty horrible.
He seemed to have deliberately changed to shouting nasally words.

Even his stance. If you look at his early live performances he sang with his chin up which opened up his throat more. Now he's almost singing down into the mic.
This. I don't want to be critical but he was awful. That wasn't singing.

He never really held a tune, just better in his younger days, still got the rock star appeal and like anyone big nowadays will get slagged off.
Seeing a rock band/singer live isnt all about quality of the voice. Its about the performance, the act, the aura too.

Liams got plenty of it and is brilliant to watch live.

Its become “cool” to slag oasis

I saw him for the first time back in June at the Co-Op Live and was pleasantly surprised at how well his voice held up. Sure, he wasn’t note perfect but he was more than adequate. He absolutely nailed Half The World Away despite him not actually being the vocalist on that one.

I’ve not seen last night’s performance but Liam has always struck me as someone whose voice is susceptible to off days but when he’s on it he smashes it. Compare that to Ian Brown where every day is an off day!
