Liam Delap | £16m bid from Southampton rejected

is the perfect player for liam to learn from not erling haaland?! Surely beneficial to keep him here and with 5 subs he could get some game time?
Pep never made 3 subs can't see the 5 rule changing things and it more like alvarez will be the man replacing haaland.

I believe championship clubs aren't allowed to loan two players from the same premier league club. Therefore Delap to Burnley can't happen.

I'd be good with a loan to Burnley.

Honestly, obviously I would prefer him playing in the premier league, but he simply needs to play men's football at a decent level at the least. Championship is probably the best 2nd division league in the world.

Playing for Burnley would also probably be a smooth transition to seem some old mates and Kompany. He's still super young, he can do a year in the premier league after if not this year.

Stop spreading fake news.
Pep regularly makes 3 subs, it's part of our tactics to wear out tight defenses and rotate our creative players.
Pep made 5 subs in many matches as well.

You could be right but certainly doesn't feel like he does when I'm shouting at the TV telling him kev is knacked and needs to come off 5 minutes before kev bangs in a 30 yard screamer.
I did it even week up until 2 seasons ago must try to get back at it

I dont yet think hes good enough for a Prem team, and he needs a full season,so hopefully a top Championship outfit will come knocking.

Clearly Pep does use 3 sometimes, but City use less subs than most teams. There's an article here for last season (only up to the end of Feb), but at that point City had used less subs than any other team in the division.

It *may* change when we get the five sub rule, but recent seasons have had Pep rotate players from game to game, so they regularly had full weeks to rest, rather than making full use of his subs.

EDIT: If anyone has a link, I'd be interested to see how many minutes subs played at City compared to other teams, as I get the feeling Pep leaves the starting 11 on the pitch longer than most too.
