Life as a single

I'm 65 and getting married on Tuesday to my girlfriend I met online when I was 50. I was divorced at 36 and can honestly say that the 14 years after that, as a single man, were absolutely fantastic. As you get older there are more and more women looking for a solvent, articulate man. Beauty really is in the eye of the beholder so you don't even need to be good looking (good job in my case). So chill, get yourself on the Internet and surprise yourself.

I like that story.

Congratulations. Ignore all us naysayers. Hope you'll be very happy together.

Been married twice and have had a couple of year or two relationships and lived with a doctor for three years . I am happily single , couldnt bear sharing my little bungalow with someone else , it was not big enough for the last mr k and i together and that was only for about six weeks before i threw his arse out

So long as i have a cat i am fine , had a year without one when i lost my old girl and i was lonely for the first time ever , it was awful , just as the clocks went back and it was dark, cold and painfully lonely . I didnt once think i need a man , just another cat , lol

I am 64 soon and i am set
I'm not sure chaining yourself to his desk in the surgery really counts Kaz.

I've just turned 60.
Two marriages down the pan, two simply wonderful children just flying the nest from the first.
Relationship for the last 5 years with a great gal.
It's time to decide what to do next. She would like us to be together.
Extremely helpful advice from the great unwashed of bluemoon always appreciated...
