limited connection after reboot

After successfully connecting my bt home hub wirelessly to 2 laptops and 1 desktop(all running vista) the desktop pc fails to connect(using netgear dongle) automatically after rebooting.It will only connect after i have re entered the security key.Is there a way that i can get my desktop to connect without manually re entering the security key. Any help greatly appreciated

Have you got it saved in your wireless list at the top as "preferred network"

Also the should be an option to save password. I dont have wireless here on this PC but could do screenshots if this is an issue.
