Chaps....
I am looking to play 2 x Bluetooth speakers together at the same time from a single device (iPhone) - which is proving to be more difficult than it sounds.
I am led to believe that it is not possible as Bluetooth was designed not to do this due to security reasons.
Does anyone know if its possible and if so how?

Also the device with the music on it will be an iPhone or iPad (not an Android device)

Any help appreciated & thanks in advance.

Its a long story.... ;-)

We need to play 2 x 'self playing instruments' together (each which have a Bluetooth speaker hidden inside them)
And it it will be outside (at a beach bar) The MP3 music will be fired from an iPhone and the 2 instruments
need to play the music together at the exact same time (as if playing a duet).
We thought the easy solution was just to stick a Bluetooth speak in each instrument and away we go.
Obviously thats not the case.

Connect two phones with the mp3 on each and have them started at the same time?

I've just connected a Bluetooth adaptor to my old (1980's) HiFi's CD input (using that port as an Aux in) and can play iPad or laptop through the HiFi's powerful amp and speakers over Bluetooth.

The Bluetooth adaptor was £25 from the local Sony Centre. I bought it there so that I could test that it could be powered from a mains USB adapter I had for my camera and so I could take it back easily if the setup didn't work. I think the same adaptor (different brand though) is available from Amazon for £14.99.

You could do as I have done or you could just run a cable from your iPhone's headphone output to your HiFi's Aux in port if you can leave the iPhone attached.

You have got a HiFi haven't you? :oD
