I think what Tolmie was saying was that a conversation had been had between Txiki and Jorge Messi in this window.

If Pol Ballus is saying Messi is a no-go, there’s a good chance that’s coming straight from Pep. So yes, it’s over. I’m not actually that gutted, but that’s on the proviso that we sign Haaland and Grealish. Our attack will be ridiculous if we can get them in.

I can't be the only one who deep down thinks this would be a bad move, I just can't see him being the same player for another 3 years.
I would have loved to see his arrive a couple of years ago but feel the ship has sailed now.
Haaland on the other hand could have us set in that position for the next 10 years.

While I didn't have much of an expectation of him joining us following last summer's reversal, I'll echo what BillySpears said yesterday. I'll believe it when I see him sign a contract.

I imagine Agueros deteriorating situation has caused this to unravel , what Messi really wanted was to play with his mate for a year, but Pep’s vision for our attack has now evolved from what it was a year ago
I just dont see it with Grealish, plus the money its going to take to get him

His stats are pretty similar to KDB’s though. He is at an incredibly high level and will thrive alongside our players. The guy idolises some of our lads and will absolutely tear it up alongside them, imo.

If you actually read the story it's not quite what it seems. He says that City THINK Leo will end up staying and therefore have decided not to present him an offer. But. He also says that the only thing that could change that would be "a wink" from Leo. And then he ends by saying for the moment Leo's two options are stay or PSG.
