Why do people assume our transfer team can only do one thing at a time? It’s madness
I think people just get worried when dealing with cunts. And Bartomeu and ADL are both major, major cunts. We could negotiate in good faith with these bell ends for weeks and weeks yet still end up empty handed. It causes panic because it’s happened to us before.

Players we could have been negotiating for prior to the Messi deal might not come to us now whilst we have wasted time on a transfer that was never going to come off.

We shouldn't have stopped all transfer activity unless we were sure we could get him from Barcelona. Appears like what I said before about his Club being in control of the deal was right- even though I got called a fucking idiot for it.
ITK?

But that will be a problem for next president. Suarez, vidal, rakitic wages of 1 year will balance book especially if they don't sign another player. This president only thinks about him. He doesn't love the club. He is not a football person after all.
Yea maybe you're correct. Let's see what happens....

Why are rags and dippers celebrating, I thought they said this was not a big story and didn't care

We can't do that until his break from Barcelona is irrevocable, or we have permission from his club. No doubt he is aware there are opportunities elsewhere.

I find ot hard to believe that Messi can go from such an extreme position to another in 24 hours. Perhaps his father has a proposal from Barcelona and just wants to be polite. It doesn't look good though.

I don't think City will be interested at age 34. it's already questionable on purely footballing grounds. Surely now or never.

Yep that's what I think also the nagging thing in my head is that that pep messi end up rocking up at another club in 2021
