At the end of the season it appeared there would be many changes to the squad, something in my opinion we desperately need. A serious refresh, more hunger and younger players.

I do wonder if the clubs stance on this has changed, even more so now the Messi deal looks like it's off. And unless Pep does extend his contract, are the club going to wait until the new man is in charge next season before they spend serious cash?

He will not address the messi issue at all as saying nothing benefits him

Unless there is a motion of no confidence he will just sit tight with shite signings and an average manager
