Exactly.

City must have known Messi's and his Father's transfer figures and terms last Summer, when Messi wanted to leave Barcelona. Those transfer figures and terms won't have changed. If City couldn't afford those transfer figures and terms last Summer, they would have walked away. By all accounts City haven't walked away. It seems the only real competition City face to sign Messi is from PSG. PSG will break their already creaking finances to sign Messi.

It would have to be a two season contract, with a third season clause if both parties want it? It wouldn't surprise me if both parties had a get out clause as well.
 
He'll stay. No idea why he'd want to go to PSG and the City thing might have been on at one point in the summer but since then it's gone quiet.

It just seems like he's not fully committed to leaving anymore and I think that's what it would take. If he's sitting on the fence about it then he's almost certainly going to stay where his home is, especially with Barto out.

Perhaps, i dont really know. I’m sure there are creative ways to pay him that don’t involve us losing money
