. I think most of the hoo-hah was just wishful thinking among our own community and doubt the little guy ever pleasured himself over an A to Z of Greater Manchester.
That's quite an image there. Which pages would most do it for him? Longsight, Pendlebury or city centre?

Paris are winning UCL for sure I think . Would be disgrace if they won't with that squad.

Also I feel like not going for Messi for financial reason doesn't make any sense. City would sell Sterling and Mahrez so fast to be able to get Messi in.
This isn’t fifa mate, who can afford either Mahrez or Sterling? We can’t just sell players because we want to make room for Messi. Not to mention I doubt either player would entertain a move.

I personally think this is the right move by the club, as enticing as Messi obviously is I prefer Kane as he is desperate to join us. Messi had his chance

On a separate note I've been waiting close to two years to see my son and he finally rocks up in the fucking middle of the most mental transfer window in years so I've only had chance to catch bits here and there.
Selfish little shit... :-)

I don't understand how PSG can break world record after world record signing and end up with Messi, Mbappe, Neymar as a front three and still comply with FFP.
FFP is dead.... Barca need to post a circa £500 mil profit next summer for the accounting period to pass. Do you see UEFA banning them? Its finished

How the hell can these so-called sources know what's happening when 12 hours ago Messi was supposed to be signing his new contract? PSG and Man City probably haven't even had enough time to think about it yet. PSG have already spent big this summer.... in regards to salaries. Yeah, City just signed Grealish for 100m, but they probably have more room with salaries than PSG do.

Man City and PSG apparently made offers to Messi 2 months ago, so obviously they'll still be interested if Messi becomes available, which he now is. The problem with PSG is, they've just signed 4 players who will be earning well over 200k a week. Add to Mbappe, Neymar, Verratti and Di Maria's salary, it's going to be tough for PSG to sign him.

I think Messi and Laporta knew exactly how this was going to play out quite some time ago and this performance keeps in tact both of their reputations with the Barca faithful. I would also bet Messi knows where he's going to play next..

Messi over Kane for me. I mean, how can you not get excited by this:

Foden messi sterling
Grealish Rodri KDB

Loving all the suckers thinking this will happen. Soz guys dont mean to be insluting. But it does feel like you guys believe in anything that anyone says that supports your desires.

Having said I would love for us to have him, its becoming clear to me that we should just give a big fuck you to all the rest of the PL and their hatred, I think we get much more respect for that

Messi was desperate to join us last season. Even stopped training. Didn't work out. I hope we are not in a Situation where we can't sign either of them. Remember Kane has a contract and will cost 160M(insane). Messi won't .would be foolish on city's part to completely discard messi as an option if he is available, unless, they are certain this is a stunt by la liga, barca and messi

75% income tax in France for those earning over €1m, it's going to cost PSG a lot of money to pay him his net wages.

Strange how we went from affording him last year, to not this year. That’s after we’ve shifted some wages and also on course to recouping £160m on fees over the past 12 months.
But losing more money due to pandemic and splashing the cash on other targets
