I remember reading last year that UEFA does not recognise the Inter City Fairs Cup won by Newcastle in 1969 as being a major trophy,so if that is the case we are now above Newcastle in the overall table.

Only because UEFA didn't organise it. When Newcastle won it was to all intents and purposes the UEFA Cup. It'd be a bit churlish not to include it in any list tbh.

Congratulations on your title success lads. I'm amazed we still haven't won it since the Premier League era began but am always pleased when a team pips Man United to the championship. I know our and your fans don't always see eye to eye but I have a firm soft spot for City and by the 50th minute yesterday I was more engrossed in your game than I was our own.

I hope that one day ourselves and you can battle it out for the Prem. Until then, if it means Man Utd not winning it, go get yourselves a couple more.

shhh merseyside red... your plastering a city forum about your team and tht your not a city fan

How can a soft spot be 'firm'?

Cheers for the sentiments though pal ;)

If you include everything then we are now the 8th most successful in the country...
