i have a fairly cheap fm transmitter and charger combined and it works fine

I bought this cheapie to put in a little run around and stream music from my Iphone -

Plugs into your earphone socket, then into the aux socket

It's weird - for some people it works really well. For others....hopeless. but they're cheap enough to take the risk.
