Little wins

Last night I didn’t follow the sports news and went to bed halfway through the news.

This morning I was halfway through my morning’s work when I noticed on line that the rags had lost last night and were out of Europe. I had completely forgotten they were playing and it brought a nice smile to my face.

Sometimes life does give you these little victories, like when you find a £20 note in your jeans pocket you didn’t know was there or you get served a portion of onion rings you hadn’t ordered.

They don’t come often, but these little wins can put you in a good mood for the rest of the day.
