Bundesliga side Hoffenheim received just £5.8million of the fee, with the rest going to owner Dietmar Hopp's company Transfair.
Oh c'mon, that's just blatant piss taking.

So what would you do with Sturridge?
Many of our lot want to sell him "while he has value" and to "free up the wage bill". I tend to not like thinking of our set up in terms of an accountant, and as a player, Sturridge is clearly boss when available.
But he's only available about half the time, that's the conundrum. If he could be a reliable starter we could have a front three of him on the right, Firmino and Mane.
He's clearly too good for a mid-table team. My fear is that he goes to say, Chelsea or Arsenal, and is available enough to be in the rotation and score some good goals for them. I wouldn't sell unless he clearly wants to go, but that said, Klopp doesn't really seem into him. Kind of like how Mourinho didn't really want Mata at Chelsea.

Tell the **** to go and play with the traffic. So what would you do with Sturridge?
I am a Liverpool fans but the problem is exactly that he isnt available even half the time. No top team would have him because although on his day he is a good fooking player the problem is when he isnt playing and he is injured anc you need a recognised striker. So what would you do with Sturridge?
