Liverpool (a) post-match thread

Injuries don't excuse Gundogan doing a shit clearance and then running away from the ball allowing Fabinho to hit a worldy.

They also don't excuse the team missing so many bloody chances!!

i think is was rodri that turned his back ??

Gundogan played ok and am not one of his biggest fans ? again i referred to injuries or not match fit and rodri is another one we asked to play today, the team give its all and the officials let us down and bent over for liverpool who fuck us over, nobody can say otherwise that it was not a pen other than VAR and the officials. it changes the game and city have a pen and the chance to score and then we are one up and we don't lose our heads or the game plans

then the mo salah goal clearly something dodgy going on with the replays and VAR not even reviewing it that can not be right because it looked offside in the skysports replay they shown, funny it was only shown once and quickly moved on and not talked about until half time when sky shown a different clip with there dodgy lines on it ??

look the morning heads lines and tomorrow night chip paper will say 3.1 to liverpool and nothing in the world can change it, but clearly the game and the match officials will get away with it because they did there job in what the premier league officials wanted so gold star to them

One thing I hate about football is how strikers and defenders (including goalie) are looked at differently.

Defenders can stop 30 attacks during the game but when they make a mistake and concede or opposition attacking players just get better than them, they are crucified. If stakes are higher, their careers might be ruined. Like with that Liverpool's keeper who made mistakes in CL final, while having very good whole season before.

Strikers on other hand can go miss 5 sitters per match and score one and they're second coming. They can score in every second match, bringing them to odd 20 goals and they's be considered very good, no matter how many mistakes they made and how many chances they've missed. If they score one per game, they'd be up for Ballon d'Or, no matter if they missed 10 empty nets each match. Defenders concede one per game and they're considered a shit, no matter what they've done apart from that.

Our strikers are missing much, much more chances than our defence is conceding goals. Result is same - one goal less scored or one goal more conceded. Yet only defenders get the stick each time.

It's the biggest widely accepted injustice of football.

We were not good enough to win that game. Blame the ref, blame VAR, but blame ourselves before all that. Shite up front and not really in the game in the killer areas. May win a cup this season but that's about it. Done by Norwich who are propping up the table was a warning. Shit it on the day.

sure you follow city?
