Yes he was vastly improved. But when, as the poster stated ‘goes into street fighter mode’ it generally result into him diving in and being exposed.

He is a much better player but he does still have a tendency to dive in and when he does he leaves a big space behind him which good teams (like our opponents today) will exploit.
