They have most 9f their main players fit barring their centre halves....the rest of their normal starting 11 will play with the exception of one of the new lads at centre half partnered by either fabihno or Henderson

This is not as an under strength team as is being made out
Agreed, it obviously supports the media narrative to say they are decimated with injuries. When we have injuries it’s all about our big squad. Not sure vvd Matip Gomez and Jota are much more of a kiss than Aguero kdb and Ake, apart from its one more. Also the daft scouse twats knee vvd and Gomez we’re out for the season and failed to address it properly in Jan, that was up to them

Think we could see 3-5-2
..........................eddy............................

Walker................diaz.............laporte......
...........................rodri................................
...cancello........silva.................zinchenko
......................foden...........jesus..............

X2 strikers to test there makeshift centre backs

like the formation , wing backs etc., but Gundogan has to play our best player at the moment , it would be madness to leave him out. Would play a false nine with Jesus on the bench.

Yep they're literally VVD & Gomes away from being full strength, we're without our most creative playmaker and the Premier Leagues most lethal striker I'd say we're more under strength.

both sides have roughly the same number of injuries to the same type of quality of player. so for me this is an even match up.

being at home with no fans, and losing the last two games at home, will be a weight on the red scouse. add to the fact that if they lose they are effectively out of this seasons title race, the pressure will only increase as it becomes make, or break!

they are a damn fine side (let's be clear about that) and can pick apart any team on their good day, but my gut instinct is that their confidence is low, the last few games have been see-sawie, to say the least. and without the fans to build them up i fully expect our confidence high team to turn them over.

the absence of their rock at the back has had them all floundering. seems he was a bigger loss than we all expected. play sterling, foden and silva as a front 3 and the movement of that lot will do the damage.

by the way, their "injury crisis" was nowhere near as drastic as is made out. any team with champion winning ambitions should, and MUST, adapt to these problems, we have all seen how hard it is to retain a title, and with our history of injuries we have managed well over the years.

i see a City win here, as long as we don't get any iffy shenanigans from the refs and var.

p.s. looks like the scouse physio's will need to change their "asthma inhaler" guy soon....

I think we’ll need 11 men, the dippers aren’t that bad

Coming up to this game and looking at recent form, there is every reason to be positive. But we never ever seem to be lucky at their place.
And players hardly seem to hit form walking up that pitch. Sterling to name one, would be the first name to sit on the bench.
For the dippers it’s make or brake, although it’s still early days. So no, I’m not very confident. Yet there’s nothing more I like to see us break that hoodoo and become their bogeyteam at their place (and ours).

Important we see out the first twenty minutes and don't concede, conversely it would be fantastic if we could grab an early goal.

Can see Klopp bringing in Kabak to partner Fabinho which will enable Henderson to play in midfield. The Dippers will be fired up and we will need to be at our best to win this, but with our solid defence and no fans at Klanfield this is a decent opportunity to come away with something.
