The answer is absolutely none as he uses Cancelo as a quasi midfielder and that creates a 3-4-3 of sorts already. He’d never add another central defender now. He’d drop Rodri deeper if needed before doing that.
My point is it’s a system that can work well if you have the players to suit it. If Sven wasn’t such a dinosaur England might have got somewhere when we had 3/4 world class centre halves and 3 world class midfielders. Instead he played divs like Sinclair and Mills at the expense of a top class player or 2 because they fitted the 442 system at the time.
