Liverpool at Home... FROM £57

I personally think the price is far too high and if I didn't have a season ticket I would struggle to justify it.
On the other hand it will be one of the most sought after tickets if the season, first game at home and against the scousers so city are going to price it high, I just wonder if the majority of people moaning, are going to go to the less attractive matches which will be priced lower?
Not much lower mate. I assume you don't know the that the Stoke tickets have gone up 57% on last season

A lot of people complaining about the price of tickets that I agree are too high. However, in recent years I have not been able to give away the occasional spare for lesser games and there are some season card holders whose seats are empty for a decent chunk of the season.

But thats got nothing to do with the individual pricing of matches in reality mate.

Of course they are, mate! We sold out every inexpensive game last season, right? I mean...a Champions League game is a big game, isn't it? We sold out all of those, right? And, they were all really expensive, right???

Welcome to the adult world. It sucks sometimes.
A bit of an eye opener for you regarding our CL games last season as a comparison to these ticket prices.

Liverpool 14/15 - From £57
Stoke 14/15 - From £44

CSKA - £33 (SC holders £28)
Plzen - £33 (SC holders £28)
Bayern - £48 (SC holders £43)
Barca - £50 (SC holders £45)

So in the real world/adult world a ticket to see Barca in the last 16 of the champions league is AT LEAST £7 cheaper than Liverpool and AT MOST £6 more expensive than Stoke.

Do not defend these disgusting prices.

You could get a ticket to see Barca & Bayern for cheaper than a ticket to see Liverpool & Stoke.

so you have to pay more for a citizen card and don't get a discount on the more expensive match day tickets....

Might be a bit off topic, but I don't know anywhere else I can post this.

Does anyone have an actual contact email address for anyone in the club associated with ticketing I can complain to? I've literally wasted my entire morning trying to get tickets for the Liverpool game, and on top of that I've had to pay for the privilege of doing it over the phone purely because the online service was broken. I've searched on city's website but all I've found is this #mcfchelp bollocks that doesn't even want my contact details so fuck knows how they're going to reply to me.

Wouldn't normally write in about these kinds of things but if you're charging me another mortgage for a match ticket the least you can do is get a system that fucking works.

I had the same issue trying to buy a Stoke ticket. The site wouldn't let the process proceed to checkout, and although the basket said I had no items in it, I wasn't allowed to try to select another seat as the system said that I had my full allocation. In the end, I had to get my ticket via the phone. And, to be fair, the lady who I spoke to (Holly, I think?) was very helpful and got me the alternative ticket I tried to book second time around, and I don't seem to have been charged the telephone booking fee. Just need my Cityzen card to come now!

I don't blame the club I blame FFP!
The more people complain about this the better.

Next season tickets will be much lower as availability will be greatly increased with the expansion.

Its got nothing to do with FFP, as pointed out ticket revenue means nothing to us. Sinclairs weekly wages are higher than our ticket revenue. We could let everyone in for free and it wouldn't make a difference, with the new tv money .

the club are being greedy. Its entirely the clubs fault the prices are so high.

So we don't include ANY of our gate money towards our annual income?

Just tried to look on ticket site can't see prices anywhere what did FROM £57 turn out in the end ?
I can't get the option to buy (and therefore, ticket prices) up.Maybe the game has sold out already? I know for the Stoke game, the dearer level 2 seats were £48 (having bought one of them!), which was £4 dearer than levels 1 & 3, a differential of £4. Perhaps the Liverpool pricing levels were similar so, given the higher profile game, maybe up to £63-65?
