Exactly, stuff like this leaves a lasting impression.

hardly the same but some people never understand the bigger picture.

I'll respect their silence then cheer my team on.
What is the bigger picture?

The big picture here for me is that these are the families who had to pay before the authorities got serious about making football safe for fans and thanks to some serious cowardice from the police and the despicable sun, they still haven't got closure.
Dippers can be annoying but they've my full support on this.

and there you have it. blinker time again .

have you also considered that if we become as entrenched as Liverpool about the situation then it would hurt our chance of getting safe standing?
as I said, be respectful but understand that your views might just be different to others.
it's called democracy and adulthood.
I'll say no more as I would rather concentrate on my club than others.

I love how you're talking absolute rot yet taking the upper hand on this.

Might try it myself -

David Silva is a terrible footballer. But you guys wouldn't understand why so let's just leave it eh. I'll continue to clap the glorified donkey every week.

Something like 70% of Liverpool fans voted in favour of safe standing. The points you are making are completely non-existent, my views on safe standing have nothing to do with paying respect to the Hillsborough victims.

Do you even know the point you're trying to make?

I'm not sure how anyone would object to a tribute to people who died attending a football match. Any right minded person would surely pay their respects before the match. Doesn't matter if you like Liverpool FC or not, we should show some solidarity in their quest to get some kind of justice or at least the truth surrounding the deaths of the people concerned.

I think a banner in sky blue and white saying 'Justice for the 96' would be a fantastic comment from our fans.

Indeed, maybe something for the club to consider paying for.

After all that has come out in recent years about Hillsborough it is astounding that some people still have these opinions of the Liverpool fans in attendance that day.

JFT96

Please nooooo.

Please do not get involved. Respect the silence then move on. Not our fight.

I didnt mean ask the club to pay for it, I dont think the club would be happy with the politics TBH.

I do, however, think that is our, and every other football fan's, fight. I was at Blackburn that day, in a packed-in encloser, if we had have got through to the semi we would have been at Sheffield.

Justice, for all sake's, for the 96.

Kick off is now 13.37pm.

All games that weekend will start 7 mins later as a mark of respect as it is 25 years since the Hillsborough disaster.
This is going to make me sound stupid and ignorant but why 7 mins later can someone tell me :/
Original game was stopped on 7 minutes I believe.

It was 6 mins, so games are kicking 7 minutes including a minutes silence.

well i for one will be showing my respects,it quite easily of been us that were involved that day,i was at blackburn that day,and remember listening to the radio on the way home.i have friends in liverpool, all liverpool fans, and they are the same as us,decent people, who love there club, and travel away, just a diferent accent.yes lfc were notorius in the bad old days, but so were many other teams,
