Liverpool bus damaged on journey back from Etihad Stadium today

Okay let's try this question then. Why do you think Hillsborough gets more coverage than the Bradford fire?

Also to say the Munich air crash has been monetised is a pretty awful thing to suggest. Especially as one of the victims was an ex City player. I will never understand why some of our fanbase think it's okay to use the Munich air disaster as a stick to beat United fans with
If you don’t think the rags have monetised Munich then you’re delusional

It's the attitude of the fanbase that is enabled by the pandering of the press, they are hand in hand. I think you're being a bit disingenuous about this. That whole fanbase is treated differently than pretty much any other club's IMO. I've already said I'm not in favour of chants about it but I don't think we should forget all about it just because some people were charged either.
When they booed the National Anthem, there was little condemnation in the media, but there were plenty of articles justifying their stance. Yet no one asked why, if it was supposedly a reaction to their perceived mistreatment by the establishment, Everton fans didn't do it, who have more local support than Liverpool do. Or the fans of clubs among the devastated former mining communities of Yorkshire and the North-East. Can you imagine the reaction if we'd done it?

We were denied a minute's silence to commemorate the Queen's passing at PL games because the authorities were terrified of these cunts booing it and the shitstorm it would bring.

The Bradford tragedy and the Heysel tragedy weren't covered up by the authorities or reported on like The Sun did at Hillsborough. Sorry, but there's no comparison, blame the higher ups for that.
Amazing that you have had to spell this out

It's not illegal to boo a national anthem. We don't live in North Korea

Please give an example of when this tragedy has been monetised

I want to see you try and answer that question
Seeing you’re struggling to do so.

Three principal reasons, operating independently and in tandem.

Firstly because of the SYP cover up. Secondly because of the relative profile of each club. Thirdly because of the more effective PR machine of one club over the other, due to resources, connections and the foregoing profile.

Both tragedies were televised. Both were avoidable. Fire safety is no less an important national issue than crowd safety. Dying in a fire is about as bad a way to go as I can imagine.

The extent of the difference in coverage is wholly unwarranted.
