Without doubt if a football fan had really gone blind in one eye from a game a month ago this would have been widely known across all news sources. As it is that well respected toilet roll of a paper the Liverpool echo throw in a couple of unsubstantiated references to it in an article about the Merseyside derby . without doubt absolute bullshit but it gets them hits on their headline so their quids in. Meanwhile yet again City's PR department will just sit back and allow all and sundry to slag the club with unproven rumours
