Hi level headed Liverpool supporter here, please don't hate me, I can see why you are all angry at going out, I agree with most of you that the goal should of been given last night and the referees were weak but we have all had decisions go against us in the past, just because it was on the biggest stage it looks and feels much worse, Liverpool have had stone wall pens not given in the prem all season, who knows maybe we could of been a lot closer to you in the league, you move on!! You have to look at yourselves 1st, no shots on goal in the first leg, that is your down fall not the refs
Whether it is ref's or not you would hope Liverpool fans would have liked the correct decision to be made. I'm not overly bothered on the Salah one he was offside pretty much on the half way line and we have to defend better from there in, we had ourselves to blame.
Leroy's last night was poor and it was that decision that changed the game, we needed an early goal (got), to be leading by 2 at the break and having that took away hurt. To overturn a 3-0 defeat you need things to go your way and not against you.
For me 2-0 half time would have made a great second half of nerves, excitement etc. and both sets of fans, the neutrals where robbed of what could have been a great half of football. You also know in the cold light of day you where significantly helped in beating City and you may well you would have beaten us anyway so this just cheapens it.
I have a lot of friends who are Liverpool fans so actually wish you well, but there is a classless section to your club (as there is with a lot), but it was a lot and not a few who damaged the team coach on the way in and I don't think that's right. So if you do go out, I won't be too upset for that part of your fan base.
