We've now lost 3 out of the last 4 and haven't kept a clean sheet - losing two at home in succession.

Clearly we'll still win the league, it's just all become a bit stale and frustrating.

A once in a lifetime opportunity was thrown away today and I am pretty fucking gutted about it.

I’m more thredders than you can possibly imagine.
We wasted a once in a lifetime opportunity to send them back to the swamp and securing the title at the same time. That would have really hurt them for years. Sadly we fcuked it up.

Ederson
Walker
Stones
Laporte
Sane
Fernandinho
KDB
D Silva
B Silva
Sergio
Jesus

Go for it!

We didn't sacrifice anything though did we?

Pep put out a side which should have scored half a dozen goals, he very clearly put out a side that was more than good enough to win, nothing was sacrificed.

You're complaining that Gundogan and Sterling missed 4 chances, and blaming it on Guardiola who set up the side in such a way that they created those chances, ever stop to think how stupid that is?
Ever thought how stupid it is to be more confident of winning Tuesday after today than if we'd have won the league "1.0 or something " don't talk to me about stupid after that comment .

Ah you finally respond lol

Folk will be wondering what the fuck "thredders" means ya jack bastard :)

No way would Pep have thrown away that opportunity if it was Barca winning the title against Madrid.
He would have been lynched. He’s been amazing this season but tonight wasn’t good enough.

I’m sure they will get the gist of it lol.

Can’t believe we wasted such a glorious opportunity to humiliate them.

Not looking forward to the dippers, we could end up getting a hiding when they watch that debacle today.

He rested our best right back ..."rested" our best player & played without a striker & put sterling there who is not a natural finisher all because he's trying to rescue an impossible situation in the champions league, he fucked up & we've lost trophies trying to win the Champions league & I'm sick to fucking death of it.

We need to score a lot of goals on Tuesday, something we didn't even look like doing on Wednesday.

If we'd created 1 chance today against United and won 1-0 we'd be in a worse position than we are now, where everyone including the players know they can and will create lots of chances to score the goals needed.

If you're so upset about tonights loss that you can't think properly about Tuesday's game, perhaps you shouldn't, or perhaps just go to the post match thread or Guardiola thread to complain about how you're pissed off with him because he didn't win the league on the exact day you wanted to.

Not really. The two games are entirely different in context, 1-0 and we go into the game as champions with belief.
The confidence of the players will have also took a hit after that mess of a second half

Do you think this team lacks belief or confidence?

Half of this forum may have forgotten how many games they've won, the 18 match winning streak, the cup win and the 13 point lead at the top of the table, but I guarantee they haven't.

If you don't want someone to respond, don't respond to them.

To have two twenty minute collapses in our two arguably biggest games this season? There's a mentality issue, that much is sure at least.

If we go through now, would people be okay with today?

I probably would.

I would, definitely.

I just think Tuesday is must win regardless.

We can’t go 3 games on the bounce losing and then have Spurs away on Saturday knowing it could very likely be 4.

I probably would.

Me too, and it would certainly make todays result more bearable and it would shut all the Liverpool lovers up, and media would be more listenable/viewable. Suddenly we've become a team with problems rather than a team that's player such wonderful football.

Early goal absolutely vital in this one imo.

Get 2 without reply and their arses will explode.

We need a ‘performance of the season’. Let’s see if we can deliver.

I think it will be a narrow win for us 2-1, the problem being the bin dippers will score an away goal.

I just can't see this team keeping a clean sheet against the dippers after the last two games, it's almost like the old days (pre-Mancini) are back with a vengeance, turning up to a game at home, not knowing what to expect from the team.
