Haha, isn’t that a draw?I'd say they'll be more then pleased to pick up a point

Big fan of his but maybe its all the travelling, or positional but he played better when ffs was out right instead of competing for space with foden.Alvarez is like a Jesus, really hard worker but lacks finesse tbf
Walker was OK tbfRight hand side piss poor.
I think pep wanted to keep the threat of a break so dippers wouldnt commit too much. If lewis came on for alvarez we may have been too deep and let them on usI think we get disappointed in Foden because we all thought he would be world class, a real standout, plus he's one of us. He's a very good player with flashes of brilliance but he needs to be turning in 7+ out of 10 performances in more games. Instead he probably has four of those games in ten, the rest are average.
I fear Nunez is going to be another Phillips and Kovacic is a downgrade on Gundo. They have time to make me eat my words though.
I get why he didn't make subs today looking at our bench, I think we may have lost the game if he had.
Of course, but no more injuries to key players. Liverpool are only as good as Arsenal and Chelsea/spurs are a couple of players behind those two. Fully fit we should be ok, we are a cut above those teams. The games back from the international break are always tough to get back into.Get Kev and Stones back and we’ll piss it.
TBF it was a goal, very very weak one to disallow but as we didn't go full 'Liverpool mental' (they would have) so easy to disallow - AND we were at home! No other top club gives oppos, media and refs such an easy ride. I know we are generally the better side over 38 games and thats what gets us through...this season, with a weaker squad we need everyone roaring, shouting from the roof tops etc..Pep alluded to this..media loved that comment!Turning marginal decisions into an imagined conspiracy is just embarrassing. I didn't agree with the decision, but I can see why it was made.
It's a good comparison, he also scores the occasional wonder goal. He had a poor game today.Alvarez is like a Jesus, really hard worker but lacks finesse tbf
Pep didn't have a choice. Grealish is sick.Good choice by Pep to play Doku, stopped an awful right back going forward more even though ironically it was TTA that scored for them.
Agreed, but why can't var advise the match official to take a look at the camera. They don't have to advise or put pressure on him, if he feels his original decision was correct, then fair enough. It makes you wonder how the pressure put on him in the media this week affected one or two strange decisions against City in the game.we are quite meek as a club, pretty quiet today i know its 12.30 but a huge roar for the 'goal' would have meant a proper VAR check needed. A grumble as we look down at our feet...easy to 'move along, nothing to check here'...own worst enemy we are at times
We had no one to bring on thoughDraws not a bad result but feels it after the soft goal disallowed.
Pep should have made changes.
stats say that having a corner and playing it in the box is actually a disadvantage. Hardly any goals scired from them by any club - and more likely to concede from counter attack..maybe they should bring in the hockey 'short corner thing from edge of the penalty box or somethingAgree about the short corners, which we are very good at when we’re on it. In general our decisions at set pieces haven’t been good this season.
Alvarez looked like he was knackered today, even in the first half, and no doubt he was feeling the amount of travelling he did this week.
As others have said, I would have liked to see Lewis come on in the second half for Alvarez and have an extra body in midfield, but the lack of depth is hurting us at the moment, particularly when players like Phillips and Gomez are just making up the numbers.
