Fernandinho is playing better than ever - Pep doesn't worry about age. If you're willing to learn and fit enough to get around the pitch, that's all that matters to Pep. Clearly, Fernandinho hasn't hit any sort of tipping point. The guy is just amazing.

You’ve assessed it dead right tactically and it was great decision making from Pep to pick he right players to hold that flat back four. It gave us fewer overloads going forward of course but stopped them. What Klopp did was flood central midfield which stopped us coming out from Ederson and straight through the lines, as we normally do. But that created space in the wide areas which we exploited well.
Yes it was a great tactical battle. I thought Klopp made a great move bringing on Fabinho and switching to his newer 4-2-3-1 but as you identied, after initial success, it open up the flanks for us. I desperately trying to find a recording of it to watch again.

Her karma is that she is a women and looks like that.

She is another example of my frequently asked question which can not be answered. Name me 5 women post menopausal who are not mental. It can not be done.

Maybe it's just that any decent person wouldn't dignify something moronic like that with an answer.

I'm not sure this is factual. Their goal was an example of flooding and utilizing the space out wide. Simply put, regardless of who plays fullback, we do relinnquish the wings when doubled up. Which happens a lot.

Their goal came shortly after their first substitution, and slight change of midfield formation. We looked at 6s and 7s for 5 minutes before the goal when we were both starting to tire, and didn't know who to pick up. That's how they came to have an overload on the far post when the cross came in, then Vinny didnt know who to pick up and it finished up with Firminho having a free header at the far post. They had an extra man across the 6 yard box.
But, who gives a s***, when we played so absolutely, fantastically, brilliantly well nearly all night, with a determination which put the scousers in our shadow. We know how good we were - never mind all the bollox from the scouse driven media. It was an incredible performance from every player - some slightly better than others but, overall, one of the best performances EVER, which hasn't received the praise it should have done by anyone but God's own blues. All I've heard all day is scouse excuse after excuse.
City last night - and the crowd - were incredible, under the greatest of pressure.
God bless 'em all - everyone!

Haha. For once I forgot to record it too and have only seen the highlights. Three times...!

Nah, the words were easy enough to read. Its the lack of basis in reality that struck me as odd.

That's what made it lack meaning. A bluetinted glasses is no excuse for silly claims. VVD simply did not disappear. His team lost. Stop confusing the 2.

You spout a lot of utter wank on here but the above is off the scale even for you.

Watch the game back. He knows he’s in a proper game and his team are on the rack and he shits himself and retreats into his shell.

Got his arse given to him by our forwards. For you to not see that, is you doing that contrary fucker who has to be ‘different’ in a bid to appear to have more football intelligence than everyone on here thing you do.

Watch him and watch Vinny in that game.

I know who’s still the man, sadly you don’t.

FFS! One of the best yet hahaha! :D

I hope this guy hates Liverpool and he's trying to wind up their fans, because that being a serious comment doesn't bear thinking about.

I know very little about the technical details of goal line technology, but I'd bet a lot of money that you don't need lines on the pitch at all - based on the positions of the cameras, the goal-line coordinates would just be programmed into the software that calculates the ball position from the images.

Wow. Still buzzing now but had the hangover from hell. My shins have been cut to shreds again after over zealous celebrations.,
Misses has put me through the ringer today, try watching Mary ******** Poppins with a hangover then gone looking for beds and then at a kiddies party for over 2 hours but if it’s any consolation I live in Liverpool and seeing them sheepish today has been great, Evertonians are as ecstatic as us. All I’ve had from the Liverpool fans is that Vinny should have been sent off blah blah blah .
