Gueye at Everton is also an awesome ball winner. Kante is the top man, but Gueye has even better ball winning stats. Would he fit Pep's style ? Surely he'd join us in a heartbeat ?
Been raving about Gueye for some time, he's Kante Mark II. Games like yesterday showed how useful someone like that would be.

The thing about KDB is that even when he's having a bad day, he'll produce a few raking diagonal precision balls into the box. Up to someone up front to get a toe onto it. Hard to drop him.
It's what saves him most games. He's not got the trickery of silva, or the drive of Yaya, his overall play is very very average and it's often forgotten after he delivers a wonderball in every other game. He's similar to Coutinho, does f*** all then hammers in a 25 harder every few games then the hype goes on.

Are you able to expand on what you think is fishy about it?
I dunno. I suppose I could be being over worried about something that's not there but I just can't understand why he's not involved at all if he's fully fit. I thought there were a few little digs in his interview after his first game back mentioning "proper tackles" and "you can't replace experience", but again I may be wrong. Hope I am

Looked on newsnow this morning for City news and came across Liverpool Echo on Sterling:

http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spor...pool-raheem-sterling-manchester-city-12754288

"Liverpool will hope Raheem Sterling slump continues at the Etihad".

This is their opening paragraph:

It took 38 seconds for Raheem Sterling to be reacquainted with the Anfield turf he once lit up. On his first return to the stadium since leaving Liverpool for Manchester City the previous summer, it was Jon Flanagan who welcomed him back with a firm, fair challenge. The winger crumpled into a heap. The Kop combusted in delight.

No wonder they hate him with reporting like that

Caballero

Otamendi Stones Kolarov

Delph Yaya

Silva Fernandinho

Sterling KDB Sane

Hahahaha. Laughed trying to come up with this myself, but I can't be bothered with Aguero being pocketed by another pair of brutes, the likes of which we used to dominate a few years back. Midfield has enough there to press and harry high, and enough quality and pace on the break to do some damage. Fernandinho in there higher to counter the Liverpool build up, and ends up with at least 6 men defending at any one time. Very interchangeable

Think we all know Pep wants 3 at the back and will probably play that next season, so after his dream in the UCL is gone and players have admitted they didnt apply his tactics; he may just think fuck you lot do it my way from now on.

Fucking hell, here we go.

He's due a less shit game. Apparently the last two were shite! But it might be that Oliver's shit games come in threes. I expect a continuation of the bollox refs have been doling out all season at The Etihad.

My BBC spies tell me that the PL show last night was a preview of Sunday, and showed a string of 'recent' games, all of which The Dippers won! I know we have not set the world on fire at Anfield but did we score one last night, did the BBC canutes show one?

Milner reckons the current Liverpool side is the best he's played in.

Also reckons it's better than the team he won two titles with at City.

What a bitter, pathetic individual he is. Utterly preposterous comments.

I'm sure Liverpool fans will lap that shit up.

Moronic comments for equally moronic fans at a truly grotesque club.

Have you considered that it is probably as simple as him not actually being fully fit?
