This is the start of a very very tough run of games and we must beat the Dippers then it's Arsenal (A) Chelsea (A) Hull (H) and Southampton (A) it doesn't come much tougher. Pretty confident for Sunday Liverpool have a defence as bad as ours and a few injuries to go with it. Henderson is a big miss for Liverpool even though I think he's shit.

After the loss at Monaco, the players should be up for this. We are rightfully out of the champions league after failing to show up for the first half on Wednesday. Now we need to cement our place in the top 4 and hopefully win the FA cup.

Its about time Sterling gets a goal against them. Won't be an easy game, we need to stay concentrated for 90 minutes. De bruyne needs to be benched as he is out of form. Yaya must start and probably will.

Football focus was football *uck us today. Bigging up all the LFC recent conquests at the Etihad complete with all Liverpool goal clips but none from City. Indeed no positives at all towards City and no mention of beating the Red Dippers at Wembley where silverware was ours.

Comfortable win for us. We are better than them in all departments. We can't keep battering teams but not take our chances. I've always said when we click someone is going to take a heavy beating. Come Sunday, the shell suited moustachioed phlegm swirling hub cap thieving bin dippers will be on the end of a thrashing.

I've not read many comments anywhere complaining that no time was added in extra time for the sub that was brought on by Monaco in that time. Also the ref didn't even play the full allocated three minutes. Steve Mcmanaman however noted it in his commentary with high pitched incredulity because he knows with only one goal in it, seconds can change the outcome. Might sound churlish but the last minutes of a game are extremely critical with a huge percentage of goals scored in extra time as opposed to say the 23rd minute of a match. It was patently unfair not to allow a further minute which would have been plenty of time to score against a team dead on their feet at the time.
