I’d be choosing Jesus ahead of Sergio for this one. Sharper, better pressing, better link up play these days.
I think Vince is faster than Stones. Can’t agree with this one, mate. Liverpool like to get around the back of you and we need stones pace to clear up.
Christ I hope so, i really do. Funnily enough Merson has gone for the same scoreline- only in reverse for the scousers.Thursday's game is why we all love football and the exciting emotional drama that it brings.
No fear of Liverpool. On paper City are clearly the better team. Liverpool certainly have the current psychological/confidence advantage based on their current league position and recent form. Pep will make sure the boys are mentally ready for this one!
Remember this is the same Liverpool team that not to long ago were beaten in the League Cup by Chelsea, then played off the pitch by Chelsea and should have lost but for a very fortunate late goal, were fortunate to tie South Hampton late and of course benefited from Mahrez's missed penalty to avoid defeat at home. City should win this game at home. If City win Liverpool will drop points with games left against Chelsea, Spurs and Wolves. Liverpool are still due to hit an unlucky patch.
Liverpool have NEVER won the Premier League and can only boast of "their league success" in the golden days of our grandparents. After City win this Liverpool will need to return to recalling the stories of victory told by their grandfather in the pre internet age.
City to win this game 3-1 and go on to win the league by 5 points or more. A wonderful encore follow up to last years Centurion Season!!
Stones isn't in great form though. I would prefer Vinnie also as he does lead the team and will chivvy them if we concededCan’t agree with this one, mate. Liverpool like to get around the back of you and we need stones pace to clear up.

You forget Vinny burning off Aubameyang last season at Wembley?5 years ago, maybe ;-)

Did he? Well I’d throw in that Stones is better on the ball and better in one-on-one ground battles. Liverpool won’t be hoofing it in the box.You forget Vinny burning off Aubameyang last season at Wembley?

Nah not for me biggest game we need our biggest players and Serg's record against the dippers at the Etihad is brilliant. Jesus just doesn't fill me with confidence that he's going to score goals.
