My heart is jackhammering as the fate of our premier league season hinges upon this game. I hope we will play the same way we did in the first leg and nullify their thretening attack.
 
Hope we smash them, not one of the Liverpool fans in the office ( there are loads) has any doubts about this game, they all think they'll beat us easily by 2 or 3 goals.
Don't think I've ever been that confident & smug when playing anyone ffs
 
The media is painting them as invincible

They looked far from that against Wolves for example, a recent game.

City can thump them

But I'll settle for a fluke or own goal in injury time

So given that, we just need to play our normal game. Despite the league standings I think we are a better team than they are and if we play to our max we will win the football match.

Not sure I agree with that. If they beat us that gives them a great footing to move fwd, so I could see them going for the win (in the knowledge, if they lose, they are still ahead)

Ignore them. Even if you were a Dipper, your reasons why the 5-0 has little relevance to tonight's match are all spot on.

In respect that they have a lead, that brings a different pressure.

But really speaking, they don’t need to win.

They will be under pressure but I think they’ll gladly take a point. For as long as it’s nil nil, they’ll take it.
 
Liverpool surely happy to sit tonight, and hit us on the break. In terms of style, I can see a repeat of the Champions League 2nd leg, but ending in a draw. 1-1.

Is the way I see it.

They have no pressure to come and win. I think they will happily sit in and look to take their chances when they come. They have pace on the counter.

We will have the lion share of possession, it’s so critical that Dinho is back to break up any attack and win those 50/50s.

Personally I’d go:

Ederson
Walker
Stones
Laporte
Danilo
Silva
Silva
Dinho
Sterling
Sane
Aguero
 
Oh God, what an important game. I am under hysterical pressure, unable to function. How do I spend my time until evening? their front 3 are So dangerous, we have to be at our best today and come back to the title race

Sure they dont need to win which gives them (imo) opportunity to go for the win, which I think they will take
