Anyone knows why Mahrez is not in?

I can't help feeling excited about him missing out. He played a lot better the last time by passing a lot more, but still, Jesus, Torres and Sterling on top is exciting.

Still no fan of the Gundogan/Rodri combo, but Pep knows better than me.

Game rests on whether Raz fancies taking the ball past Trent or not...should have the beating of him everytime but with Sterling he either does it or doesn't regardless of opponent, must be a mood thing.

Hopefully he's on the right where he can stretch the pitch.

Torres is more dangerous cutting in from the left than Sterling imo.

Think they’re gonna try & win it in the first 20, our lads are gonna have to be extra brave on the ball early on to beat the press, Plopp knew the chances of Firminio winning headers & Flick ons in an area patrolled by Rodders Dias & Laporte was zero, so I see it as a smart move, Jota & Firminio will rotate dropping short to pick the ball up in midfield

They are going to press the living daylights out of us with that front 4. If our build up is off, it could be very scary indeed. Need Rodri and Gundogan to make themselves available all the time. And we’ll need to use Ederson a lot in the build up, almost taking up a sweeper’s position.

Just chip over the press, job done. Ederson to go long most of the match.
