I don’t understand why this game isn’t tomorrow. Both teams will play on Wednesday and have already played last on Tuesday, it’s been enough rest time. Not to mention that both Atletico Madrid and Benfica will play tomorrow 24 hours before us and them. In our case, we will have to travel as well. Why doesn’t the PL make it easier for clubs in the Champions League?

Sunday is more appropriate, they can call in to the churches on the way home and buy some candles in consolation of a defeat.

One thing they are better than us at is crossing. We need to cut their supply lines and keep their full backs penned back.

IMO that's the most important thing we have to do, everything comes from their full backs.
Nullify them & we win the game, the likes of Foden are going to be vital

The premier league and champions league are run by 2 different organisations so they will never work together 100%.

I wasn’t talking about them working together, but rather helping the clubs’ interests. Chelsea played on Wednesday and plays tomorrow, having to play on Tuesday next. They would never have them play on Sunday

Chelsea could not play on Sunday due to Tuesday game.

Thought id share this. Was walking in Regents Park last Sunday and i saw a guy dressed smartly in pale blue shirt, blue jeans and shoes sat on a bench sunning himself. I said "You a Chelsea fan?" He laughed and said "No Liverpool, why do you ask?" After picking my chin up off the floor and trying not to mke it too obvious i said "well your wearing all blue" "Ah right" he replied. I tried to leg it sharpish and said "well good luck for the rest of the seaon" not wanting to engage in any more talk but he said "oh i dont know mate, Man City are looking pretty good aren't they, they have the experience" and a few other comments that i cant remember as i was making a sharp exit. Anyhow, seems like he was pretty worried about us so its not just City fans who get nervous. 4-1 to City. Jesus, Foden, KDB and Bernardo.

Its mainly the idiots on the LFC football forums who spew their arrogant attitude ,i know two lads who are LFC season card holders and helped me out with tickets at Klanfield over the years , both of them are concerned about Sunday and would take a draw now , much like some of our support. They also both appreciate our quality and when money is mentioned only wish their Yank owners would re-invest in their squad like our owner does
Its very rare to able to have a reasonable discussion with scousers about football , the pricks who regurgitate "oil money" "no history" are usually the ones who cannot be arsed to getting off their sofa to actually attend games.

In our case, not only do we play 24 hours after Atletico, but there is also the trip. Liverpool at least will play at home
