We ran 120,5 km vs Atletico. They ran 121,5 ( a CL record wrt distance covered or close to that). Pep has no choice but to use fresher players. Guess this means Ferna and Zinchenko will play, whether from the start or in the last 30 minutes or so.

The scouse cunts reckon it's mind games from Pep that De Bruyne and Walker will be missing. They really are the pits that lot, I'd expect both to be missing for a few weeks

As good as Ake has been recently at LB I'd play Zinchenko. And I'd prefer Stones RB in this one.

I'd be tempted to play Cancelo further forward...

.....................Steffan...................
Stones Dias Laporte Zinchenko
....Gundogan Rodri Bernardo....
Jesus ..........Foden ......Cancelo

I think himself, Bernardo and Zinchenko would combine well on that side.

(..or am I just trying mental gymnastics to avoid starting Sterling or Grealish?)
Out of interest, why wouldn’t you start Jack and Raz?

------------------------Steffen----------------------
Cancelo-------Stones--------Laporte-------Ake
--------------------------Rodri----------------------------
------------Foden----------------Berni--------------
Jesus----------------Grealish-------------------Raz

Pep will likely play Gundo for Foden and maybe him CF for Grealish.
I’d go with that, however I reckon it’ll be Dinho instead of Foden and we will play more of a 4-2-3-1 where slightly less pressing than usual and let them come on to us a bit more.

I'm walking into abuse now....

Sterling frustrates me by making poor decisions at vital moments. That said he can do good stuff too. I'd play him if we are up already. Or we are stuck already.

Grealish just doesn't seem ready yet. He'll get there but I'd keep him for a sub appearance this hame and a full ggamein the league.

Don’t get me wrong, both have their faults, I just think that they are 100% nailed on to start alongside Jesus in the front 3.

I'm not predicting the lineup. Just stating my preference. If I'm right I'm buying a lot more lottery tickets.
