Liverpool - post match thread.

Just watched highlights on MOTD mainly as wanted to see the Sterling incident (stone wall pen).

There were people sat all around ne crucifying KDB as he didn't have his greatest game but we were chasing the game and he is so positive in his passing decisions and always likely to create something.

I thought sterling should have come off instead of Sane - KDB out wide is OK but sterling in the middle isn't - he gave the ball away virtually every time it went to him.

Generally thought a point was about right - both teams probably thought they could have won it.

I thought that at the time too, but it was definitely a ploy by Pep to play Aguero on the left for the last 10 mins, as he then put Sterling centre forward. Clyne and Milner gave our wingers acres of space, perfect for Aguero. Right enough, he got his chance soon after and leaned back on it, over the bar.

Thought we were unlucky today, more ruthless in front of goal and we would be higher up the league. We've got the right manager, and with the right amount of recruitment in the summer we can give it a good go next year, and become more consistent.

Just watched MOTD and that prick Danny Murphy saying the cheating twat Oliver had a "good game". Him and Shearer concluding that the officials must have thought Milner got to the ball! Do you think they believe the shite they are saying?

Just shows the world Murphy lives in - Oliver fucked up at every opportunity today - and a BBC biased view of highlights shows that but let's say he had a "good game". If any of the rest of us performed in our jobs the way that Oliver did today - we'd be the proud owners of a P45. YCMIU?

Was just wandering could anyone with access to the full match highlights possibly tell me which Liverpool player on about 32 mins had a shot that's ended up hitting me full in the face smashing my glasses and given me a black eye and thumping headache ?
Think it was coutinio ?

25 for the season so far. Best goals per game record in the history of the Prem - including Henry the lot. Some on here believe that other top strikers like Lewandowski never ever miss. They all miss some but Sergio's greatness is all down to him scoring more than anyone else - year-in, year-out, year-in, year-in year out.

exactly......all players miss at times....people faun all over ibrahimovic yet he has missed some absolute sitters this season...so does sanchez, Gabriel Jesus will in the future as will Aguero again at some point.....David Silva could even hit the target with the ball at his feet 12-15 yds out......ferna missed a sitter and KDB hit the post when he should have scored and he has been poor in front of goal all season esp when compared to last season.

Why didn't you put your hands up and stop it?

Everyone is missing chances, but it's Aguero's job to put it in the net, and he's struggling at the moment. City have never been so creative as we are at present. That's my impression. 1st half we had so many good attackingsituations but we don't work the keeper. I bet Jesus walks straight into the team as soon as he is fit
