Pepe Reina on his way to Napoli (loan) according to the Liverpool Echo

Think this is a good move, could see Pepe being dropped in favour of Mignolet this season, at least he'll be in the shop window for a season. 8 years at the club, he's been a wonderful servant for us.

Reina used to be one of the better keepers in the league but over the last few years, seemingly with Liverpool's decline, he has really become poor. Right move to move him on IMO.

From RAWK

We can sustain a high net spend due to high revenue, a result of success in more 'natural' times. We aren't just getting pumped with billions of dollars, we are reaping the rewards of past successes, and thus we 'deserve' to be able to spend more

Not really, there are billionaires who put money into a club because they see it as an investment and they will get it back further down the line or when they sell the club, most owners fall into this category. When this happens all of the income the club spend eventually derives from it's fan base.

Then there are owners who are spending money they know they will never see again, who are doing it for political or personal reasons, here the size of the fan base doesn't matter as the fans are not paying for their football club. To me that's not football.

Wah wah wah, it's not fair!!!

These sad fuckers really are deluded, they'd rather the fans be fleeced than allow external investment in football. All they've got to talk about is 'istree because they're so pathetic these days.

They are all in for an 'orrible shock when we start posting a profit in a year's time.

I'm sure when we do, they'll still point to the Etihad deal without realising that based on our current global profile the reported £30 million pa for the shirt, ground and academy sponsorship mean if anything, it's now undervalued.

I can only see bitterness levels increasing towards us from Liverpool fans in the years ahead, as the realisation that the FFP that their owners were so keen on promoting merely serves to act as a barrier to entry for Liverpool sitting at the top table once again.

Their commercial revenues have held up well in the last few years, but that situation cannot continue indefinitely. A few more years of relative obscurity and large parts of their support in South East Asia will start to find excuses about maintaining their support.

This is hilarious if it's true:

Brendan Rodgers about Suarez.... "Of course he wants to work and play at the top level. But unless something drastic happens, he will be staying here. "

Why is that hilarious? Enforcing a contract? Levy did the same to Modric...makes sense imo. See if he turns up to our pre-season tour tomorrow now...that'll be the next test
