The old Cult favourite. The "we very nearly won more games' argument and if we had done so we would have won the league, won Champions League, finished above United, etc...

They accuse Everton of winning without winning. The reality is that it is Liverpool who have been winning without winning. For years. 23 years.

The "Liverpool FC biggest club in the world" myth is a lie. They are the 5th biggest club in England competing with Arsenal, Spurs and Everton for that last top 4 place. Klopp is not the messiah. He is a fraud. No better than 10 other managers in England. He has a career best 4th place finish in England.

It's not about other teams, is about what Liverpool needs to do to improve. Last season it is hard to neglect the fact that Liverpool scored very few goals the last 20 minutes, and that Liverpool had a terrible record at defending leads the last twenty minutes. He points out a weakness, that he will have to address.

Last season the pre season was much about defending, and breaking down low blocks. High, mid and low block and transition between them, and set pieces. Offense was much about creating space in half spaces and taking advantage of it.

I think fans sometimes read too much in to things.
