You seem to be a "loyal" follower of 3 teams. I may be in a minority, but outside of City I couldn't give a flying fuck about any other single team. And no, I most certainly don't have a favourite basketball team. City. And only City.

I have a favourite cricket county.
I have a favourite rugby team (union, not glorified pushing and shoving)
I have a favourite American football team.

I don’t follow any of them as closely as I do City, but just because I’m a Season Card holder at Etihad, it doesn’t mean I can’t have an interest in other sports too. On the contrary; I love watching most sports and I know I’m not alone in this, so ridiculing an American for following American terms, as well as City is a bit pathetic, IMHO.

Here, if you're a footy fan, you're generally only mildly interested in other sports and certainly not interested enough to have a favourite team in that "other" sport, but it's quite common with our American cousins.

No probs, we see this differently. I'm "all in" when it comes to sport, that is, City get my undivided support and nobody else gets a look in, footballing or other sports. Maybe myopic, but that's me. You follow a couple of other teams / sports. And clearly enjoy it.

I am and always have been a City fan, I have also been a New York Jets fan since 1984, it isn't overly taxing to follow two sports but wait, add in cricket no support for a team tbh but watch all the internationals I can, a single concession is not to keen on rugby but will watch England in the six nations, do we class formula one as a true sport, if so then that is another but again no real team following going on there.

Like a bit of tennis and athletics on the tv as well.

How anybody can only ever find time for one football club is actually quite outstanding.

I've followed them through thick and a lot more thinner for approaching 50 years mate. Not sure how you can be 'loyal' to more than one team even if they are different sports.

Supporting a club is about exactly that, supporting, following them home and away. Now that'd be hard enough to do over here but in a country the size of the states damn near impossible.

Exactly. Yes i'm interested to see how Lancs do for example but i certainly don't support them.

So are you not a supporter if you don't follow them home and away?

I'm the outstanding one ;-)

Since Pep arrived he has got rid of 14 players and brought in £100m and considerably reduced our wage bill , the Dippers mugged Barca for one player ,and then spent £300m in twelve months , i know which manager i would be giving my cheque book to.
