I sort of hope we lose and then them lot get a draw or a loss last min goal against them

Well, they've already won the title multiple times this season so he could be right.

Hasn't Mr Khan heard about how Liverpool fans go on in Europe, or in the UK for that matter.... Bricking opposition busses, fireworks outside hotels.... Hating everyone & everything that isn't scouse.... Even hating their fellow players so much they have police guards to protect them from threats by their own fans.

He was talking about this this morning, albeit briefly, on the radio.

Liverpool fans, once again bastions of all that is holy, pure, nice & good.

This whole 'Liverpool are the woke club' thing annoys me. They're not a workers' collective. Tommy Smith called black people n*****s and said he'd never live next door to a black person or let his daughter date one. The whole squad, black players included, supported Suarez. They're owned by Americans. They have fans who bring Steaua Bucharest banners to our games (because Steaua Bucharest won the EC due to English teams being banned BECAUSE OF THEIR FANS and we couldn't play in it) and sing songs about United players dying in a plane crash. Billy Bragg posted that them beating Barcelona was a triumph for collective action over the individual. Give me strength.

And not everyone who dislikes them is a Tory.
 
Liverpool fans like to portray their club as this pseudo socialist alternative to the "plastic" clubs as they call them.
Truth is they are a capitalist club who have istree of turfing out both Everton over a rent increase and more recently residents of anfield in buying up houses

Aye, its just a bandwagon he's jumped on, pity he, or his doctors of spin, couldn't be bothered to do their homework before :)

Which was the point in posting, the media machine love-in is deplorable given their fans history - even their recent history of being complete dicks, they're being sold as the heroes of the league, the champions of Europe, when quite honestly their fans behavior is despicable at best.

I was chatting to a scouser a while back, and oc the bus incident came up, and at first he said it was disgusting, but then with a grin he says 'but it worked though, didn't it.'

How I didn't smack the prick, I'll never know.

Ask a Coventry fan how they feel about Scousers. No love lost there after putting a downer on their greatest season when they won the FA cup in 87. Then no Europe to look forward to because of the selfish, inbred, vile, hypocritical bunch of reprobate you are never likely to meet.

I can't comment on what might have been in the past but the dippers have loads of Asian fans as do United. You can see them at matches and wearing their shirts on the streets.
They latch on to the history and bootroom twaddle just as much as the general population. So Sadiq Khan isn't really doing anything out of the ordinary.
