Lets get something straight , we went to Chelsea the Champions last year and played them off the park and did the same to them at the Etihad , where a the Dippers hung on for a draw at Klanfield this season and were soundly beaten at the Etihad because Klopp changed his tactics and came for a draw . So Dippers if you want to win a title show some bottle and beat the current Champions , dont play like cowards.

fall short? this super-abundantly talented and cultured LIVERPOOL squad have already won the league in my mind.... unofficially.

we are the EPL winners 2018-19...

what would city give to be in our position? a 2nd euro final, a 4th euro final in 13 years... a manager who is embedded into the club's cultural ethos and a man who unlike pep won't be looking for another project in more glamourous cities elsewhere .... we have a worldwide brand created over 50 years of stoking people's imaginations.... we aren't robotic or corporate... we're holy..

the fact that the city marketing team use the same font as the oasis debut album shows how needy they are to be seen as this great whale of popular culture.

when we, being LIVERPOOL, when we lift the trophy in about 16 hours from now, billions of people will have to feast upon banquets upon banquets of humility pies... and should reality present it differently, then history will say different... cos in 10 years time, when people think back to 2019 they will be singing about this monstrously creative LIVERPOOL team... a group of men who have given hope to billions upon billions of people struggling in the gutter of life.

Shanks, Paisley, Kenny and now Klopp will join the pantheon of those heavenly gods in a few hours time.... this is our year!

i would just like to take this opportunity to thank every genius that works for this team, the entire club, from the tea ladies and the security guards, to the doctors and the ticket people... to the zillions of fans across all four corners of the globe... we commune together on Sunday to see our team ascend into a spiritual place that is normally reserved for saints... I'm welling up as i type this, almost breaking down in tears of glory... i thank you all, my comrades in sporting beauty.

I think I feel the same way? Been trying to wait a bit before deciding how I really feel, but I’m surprised not to feel too bad this evening.

It feels more like an accident than anything, that we don’t have the title. Like a test match where you’re well on top only for the last two days to be lost to rain. That’s it, actually - City are just a thing that’s there, but isn’t actually part of the game itself. We were certainly second, but it’s as if there was no winner, like all those Tours de France. It’s hard to get too despondent about it.

I had a look earlier.
I pissed myself laughing, oil money, cheats, doping and mercenaries and the cherry on the cake was the post about how classy they've took their defeat, inbetween pages upon pages of salty bitterness.
Apparently we're trying desperately to make them our rivals.
They really are something special : )

I completely get why the roads hate these fuckers so much now.....they will never be our rivals in my eyes, fuck me they deserve each other !

I was gonna say. Just watched MOTD and it's apt that the last goal of their season was yet another that shouldn't have counted.
 
I was going to post about how they lost the prem to a better team, but I wont. I don't think they could understand it,so, tonight we went out to ceebrate in olon as luck would have it we met a friend from Millan. he remembers the great Millan side of baresi !!! he fuckin detests Liverpool and said all of Italy hates them. cant wait for spuds to win the cl and loved the fact that city won the prem, thinks we are the best team in the world ! and this guy is no idiot, he really knows football. sort of made my day! oh!, the rum !
 
Couldn't care less about the European cup farce thingy. Like a 20/20 blast rather than proper football. Away goals, dodgy VAR and refereeing decisions. Two sides that have lost 4 times each, both having finished below us in the league; one 27 points back ! All fans buy season tickets for the league; that is the measure - anything else is a bonus. Would like to win it one day - just for the collection. Always nice to travel, but the league is what we All start off in and is the goal at the start of the season.
