Liverpool thread 2018/19

The Morning after and still in denial.

You have to hand it to the deluded and lieing Scousers, they are doing a ‘STERLING’ job of brain washing themselves again that they aren’t bothered about City winning the title, and denying Liverpool the title once again.

More gems from RAWK.

I think I feel the same way? Been trying to wait a bit before deciding how I really feel, but I’m surprised not to feel too bad this evening.

It feels more like an accident than anything, that we don’t have the title. Like a test match where you’re well on top only for the last two days to be lost to rain. That’s it, actually - City are just a thing that’s there, but isn’t actually part of the game itself. We were certainly second, but it’s as if there was no winner, like all those Tours de France. It’s hard to get too despondent about it.

———-

At least he’s being honest about how he feels. The rest of them aren’t bothered apparently. ;-)

Why feel sad for them? They've got their hooked claws on something I've not seen our club lift since I was a child, and have been waiting ever since to see us do it again. run our season back, and 100 out of 100 seasons we win it, and win it comfortably with 97 points, but here these absolute shower of c*nts are, bending the rules around them so they can buy their way to something that's breaking the hearts of many a supporter of this club to see us lift. We get 97 fucking points and it gets us second. Second is nowhere. It's nothing. How is that even possible? Some people have been waiting their entire existence and have never seen us win the league, we get to what is regarded, as I say, 100 out of 100 times, a guarantee to lift the thing, and yet here we are. I can't compute that. I can't bring myself to give them cheating, plastic, league ruining scumbags any kind of small credit whatsoever. If that makes me a bitter person, then fuck it, I'm bitter. But I'm justified in it. The thought of us improving again (how, how can that even be possible when you lose once?) and losing out again, because these wankers will drop another half a billion to strengthen is galling. I'm sorry, but I just can't find a silver lining in any of this. I'm fucking gutted, but more than that, angry.

There should be a boycott of the away matches at Manchester City. If there is anything left of this sport, then supporters should make a stand. I know this is probably impossible in todays football world, but it really should. Like Dortmund and their protest of Leipzig, there should be statement against the owners of Manchester City. We, Liverpool fans, in solidarity of the workers and the people of UAE, should take a stand. Should we really give our money to these fuckers?

Sounds like some twat who doesn't even attend matches, let alone away games at our place, yet he/she is telling everyone what to do. Anyway, I'm not sure why they would want to do this when you consider how desperate they were for the Dubai government to buy their club:

"YANKS OUT, DUBAI IN"

Yes stop giving them your money ....trade in your car for a pushbike .....

The delusion is getting worse. Caught a glimpse of Phil Thompson on Sly going on about Coutinho, saying that he hoped there was a buy back clause for less than half the price Barca paid for him - he was being serious.

That's one of those extremely thinly veiled messages in the name of helping football but is abundantly clear to anyone who can read that it's for the good of Liverpool FC.
