Was spotted in my city top in the park this afternoon by two passing dippers a fellas and his mrs.

Conversation ensued and they spent the whole time under the bizarre impression that they had finished the season on 96 points and had done so, on purpose, "for the 96".

They also slipped in that their CL and PL over the last 2 seasons was "better" than our 100 pts and domestic quadruple.

I allowed them to continue in their delusion. What is wrong with these headcases?

I think I would have sided with the idea that it was indeed very special that they obtained 96 points as a nod to Hillsborough and that we are very alike as we totted up 100 points as a nod to our usual home attendance............

But then it mentioned some businesses including Standard and Chartered had written to the media supporting this imposed law.
