To compare the money both clubs have spent offers no perspective and insight into the debate at all. The facts are clear, no point in rehashing them. You say that we’ve spent a lot of money which is true but we’ve also recouped a great deal which you haven’t. That’s not a bad thing, it’s just the situation at hand. It seems like it’s you guys that have the issue with finances, not me, but let’s noy let this descend into a row, I’m only here to talk football
Once again! I give up.
Liverpool only got that money because your best players wanted to leave. Without your best players leaving your transfer kitty/pot was what?
It was Jonny Ball, think of a f***ing number!
Think for 1 minute.
If City we’re a selling club like Littlwoods have been , and our best players wanted to leave, in your opinion, how much would City have got for Sergio, David Silva, Vincent Kompany, De Bruyne, Sterling, Sane, etc.
We’d have blown every club out of the water with our net spend figures, even Littlewoods.
But City don’t sell their best players. The club is so well run, that even after FFP, City can still afford to targeted the best players available without the need to sell their best players.
And before you start. Sheikh Mansour stopped investing in the team when FFP was championed and implement by the likes of UEFA, FSG/Littlewoods, United, Arsenal, etc. Because all those clubs knew they couldn’t and wouldn’t be able to compete financially with City.(and PSG)
BTW. If FSG and Liverpool think they can take on Sheikh Mansour, ADUG, City and win, they are very mistaken. I think you know that as well.
