Pretty much agree they deserve to win the league, but without VAR, or with it used impartially and correctly, we CERTAINLY wouldn't be 22 points adrift, and i honestly don't think it would have been over yet!
We wouldn't be 22 points adrift, but we'd still be miles behind. Regardless of any beneficial decisions they've had, we've been well off the pace this season. Worryingly so.

Every city fan I know say Liverpool deserve to win the title! Bet last season when we won or season before you be lucky to find any Liverpool fan saying we deserved the title they would come out with city bingo! That’s difference in our fans! You would thought after not winning he league for 30 years they’d wouldn’t be so cultish.

I've not met a Swedish Liverpool fan that didn't think City deserved to win. We are six guys that watch every single game, and you have our full hearted support.

Did any one hear Lovren on Sky. He is talking about Liverpool winning next the 20 trophies Barcelona style.

Firstly they have to start taking the cups seriously.

Secondly why would you say something like that when you have a team like City waiting in the wings? Do they really think that City will not come back strong?

And then you have teams like United, Arsenal, Chelsea with a lot of titles last 10 years.
Could Liverpool be underestimating the rest of the league or thinking that they are better then they realy are?
If so it could be a wake up call next season.
Here is hoping.

Do you have Balkan friends? Sounds humble and modest to me. :)

The Liverpool fans I know were just pissed off that they did so well but came up against an incredible city side. I don’t think for one second they thought they were going to kick on like they have. Where as last season they were annoying, this season they have turned into utter pricks and are unable to discuss anything without being utter arseholes. They really are a horrible set of fans.

Only 8 points off last season at this stage, and on course for 85-90 points. We won the league on 86 and 89 points. Scored 65 to last season’s 66 at this stage. Have got the best Xg and Xa figures in the league, way better than Liverpool’s.

Liverpool have had the perfect storm of a season, where they virtually score with every chance, kept a stable team, and have had decisions and VAR go their way at least 95% of the time. City have had the (im)perfect storm with injuries, profligacy in front of goal, conceding virtually every shot on goal, and shite VAR/referring decisions.

Don’t think we’d be miles behind given a fair wind.

Just had a talk with a scouser who explained that if we win the chumps league this year it's OK because they have gotten bored of winning it. I explained that if they win the league this year it's OK because we have gotten bored of winning it. His answer was "It's not the same", deluded and stupid.

It means more!!

Pep admits he only wins because he has ‘incredible players in big clubs’ – not because he’s ‘the best’ Empire Of The Kop

These lot are obsessed with Pep and how 'better' Klopp is to him. My missus cousin is a Liverpool fan and he never used to say anything against City until they started to do well and now all i hear is how better Klopp is because Pep just buys success.
Firstly, Pep has ALWAYS admitted he is only as good as his players, this was from the first season he was at City and is not a new thing. Scousers seem to think they have broken him, it's mental.
Secondly, i don't know why it's so hard to understand that Klopp has bought a lot of the players that have been integral to his success, whether he had to sell his best player or not, doesn't wipe the fact.
Thirdly they go on about how he took a Barca team which was already winning, its false. Yes they had been winning in previous seasons but they had fallen to 3rd or 4th when Pep took over. When he came in he got rid of a lot of the guys who didn't work hard and brought in guys like Basquets, the guys he dropped include Ronaldinho, Deco and Eto'o, 3 of the best players in the world at the time.
Finally, when you go through the team he won with last season, the spine is Kompany - Fernandinho - Silva - KDB - Aguero, he bought none of those players and they were all (except KDB) being argued as being at the end of their careers.

It's a huge spin the scouse media has managed to play on the public and should never be taken seriously.

8 points is still a drop and given it was perfect from this point on suggests the team isn't of the level it was last year. That's the point the team was always unlikely to better last year but maintaining the level or thereabouts would have been expected. Dropping off wasn't hence the worry. At the same time, Liverpool have improved or decisions aside, have kept the same level as last year.

They've changed the title thread again on rawk and posted a threat to city fans to make the thread title 'even more embarrassing'.

YCMIU.
