very true, though they played a very different way back then.

though scandal brushed under the carpet in his time at Arsenal, with them paying over the maximum wage and basically doing a Saracens by getting round it through back channels. Much like a lot of things Arsenal did in that era, it's gone rather under the radar, but you could say they not only bought success but broke the equivalent of FFP back then too...just wished he stayed in west Yorkshire rather than kickstart the ungrateful, entitled north London folk.

Huddersfield were done over a few times for being a small town club, Chapman but also later Shankley too.
