Nothing would give me more pleasure (apart from city winning all four domestic trophies and the Champions' League in one season) than Everton becoming the preeminent club in your city.

There are so many connections between our clubs down the years; Sir Joe Mercer, George Heslop, Kendall and Reid, Ian Bishop, Mark Ward, Andy Hinchcliffe, Joleon Lescott, etc.
