To watch that shitehouse of a football club imploding and suffering is beautiful beyond words. A club steeped in deluded arrogance and a sense of entitlement which the media help to perpetuate. A club that is rotten from the top to the bottom. At the top owners that want to change the very fabric of our football in this country and Europe to line their own pockets and destroy the opposition. Staff that will hack and cheat. A manic aggressive and ungracious manager. Players that unashamedly dive and cheat and foul with almost impunity due to weak biased officiating. A fanbase that is violent, brainwashed and hysterical to the point they would fit the criteria to qualify as a cult.

I pray their recent resurgence fizzles out and dies and they spend at least another thirty years in the wilderness. I would be overjoyed if our club had irrefutable evidence that heaps great shame on them and hastens their demise. That really would be the icing on the cake.

If it was a pen, should it have been a red card also?
NBC here in the US said that they spoke with the head of PiGMOL and he said it should have been a red as well and that a mistake was made. I can’t find a clip online but will post if I do.

The scousers biggest fear is Klopp leaving by dropping a resignation bomb. He did it out of the blue at his previous two clubs when, having achieved his targets, left due to him believing he couldn’t take them any further.
He’s won them the league and the Champions League. Fair play to him.
However, he’s looking at our squad with 2 world class players in each position, no doubt our summer business lined up, Pep signed up for at least another 2 years. Average age of squad much younger, with players like Cancelo and Rodri bedded in and generational talent like Phil being nurtured perfectly.
Contrast that with the bench he had available tonight. Funds limited due to FSG’s business plan. A la Coutinho, they’d be expecting to offload either Mané or Salah this summer to fund a rebuild but Barca and Real didn’t have the money even before stadiums closed. PSG don’t need either of them. They’ll both be 29 at end of season after which their value will drop further. No ones giving them any big money for Firmino. They’re stuck with Thiago on massive wages for another 3 years. Wijnaldum leaving. Milner closer to 40 than 30. The first XI has been flogged to death for 4 years hence the injuries piling up. And what if they didn’t qualify for Champions League?
I question his appetite given what he’s achieved, the task facing him and who he’s up against. I think he’ll go all out in Europe but it’s a forlorn hope. Once knocked out, my money’s on him walking in the summer.

But what about the holding of hands with all the squad in front of the kop when they draw to West Brom ?
Surely he wants to do that one more time before he goes
